DR. HANS KORTE Wood & Fibres Innovation Consulting is an engineering consultancy working in the field of wood, fibres and composite materials.

The consultancy primarily aims at the development, introduction and marketing of new materials, products and/or processes under critical consideration of economic constraints.
The Wood & Fibres Innovation Consultancy works for its clients like an outsourced development department that carries out market and property right analyses prior to material, product or process development, researches and applies for funding, explores value creation potentials with the management and coordinates implementation strategies. By means of content-related and formal project management, development tasks are implemented in a targeted and timely manner.

In addition to the client's resources, universities, public or private-sector research institutions are involved in the projects as required (see: Participation in public funded projects) and contacts are established with third-party companies. Projects are measured against operational requirements during their course and adapted to them if necessary.
The Wood & Fibres Innovation Consultancy sees itself as a sparring partner for the management and implementer from the initial idea to the market launch. In the case of inventions and/or developments that are relevant to intellectual property rights, the Innovation Consultancy supports the client with applications to patent and trademark offices (see: Intelectual property).

In addition to innovation consulting, Dr. Hans Korte is also active as an expert for wood damage, industry issues and in technology assessment.

With the consent of the project partners, interesting research and development results are presented at congresses or published in scientific journals (see: Publications).

Participation in public funded projects
